Ice Baths for Property Developers
Handcrafted in the UAE, Arctic Edge ice baths bring cold immersion into private villas, residential amenities and branded residences. Plan the bath, cooling system and daily operation together, before the surrounding space is finalised.
Private homes or shared amenities?
A private villa and a residents’ wellness suite need different operating plans. Establish who will use the bath, how often it will be used and who will maintain it. For shared facilities, involve the future operator when selecting the model and planning cleaning, water changes and guest access.
A compact bath footprint does not define the complete installation area. Reserve room for the steps, chiller, hose route, safe approach and maintenance access. Ask Arctic Edge to review the proposed layout before committing to joinery or floor finishes.
Choose the material and bathing position
- Arctic Barrel: natural teak with an upright, seated immersion.
- Arctic Oval: natural teak with a more reclined bathing position.
- Arctic Sereno: an oval stainless steel shell, clad in Italian travertine. It shares the Oval’s form, with similar overall dimensions.
Coordinate these details before procurement
- Access: check doors, lift dimensions, corridors and turns along the complete delivery route.
- Structure: have the project engineer assess the filled bath, bather, chiller and local loading. Confirm suitability before placing a bath on an upper floor or terrace.
- Services: coordinate an appropriate protected power outlet, filling and draining arrangements, waterproofing and chiller ventilation.
- Outdoor placement: provide shade and protection from rain at all times.
- Handover: nominate the person responsible for scheduling, flow checks and routine maintenance.

Plan for operation from day one
The plug-and-play system still needs a suitable installation environment. The chiller can be positioned up to 3 metres from the bath, on the same floor level. It must not be located above or below the bath. Keep airflow and service access clear.
Provide 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for the Tuya app and automatic operating schedules. Plan for 10 hours of daily operation, never more than 12, with the bath switched off overnight. Water must circulate for at least four hours every day. The operating team must check flow each morning and evening and keep it at 20 litres per minute or above.
